Pelvic Floor In Incontinence

The pelvic floor is a connective tissue muscle. Its task is to tighten, to relax and in case of a pressure increase (sneezing…) to generate a counterpressure. If the pelvic floor is not well-trained, it can no longer provide enough support for the urethra and the closing muscle of the urinary bladder. This causes urine to leak (incontinence).
